I apparently had a dinosaur of an external hard drive. It forgot how to play nice and no longer worked – When I had a… deadline to get some documents from it. A trip to the open friendly offices of Jonathon and Fix-My-PC and he retrieved all the data and put it on a shiny new much smaller external hard drive. I am a total technophobe and the help and assistance I got from Jon and his team was professional, explained in a way I understood and very speedy. I will return no doubt.read more

I found Jon’s straightforward approach to be efficient and pragmatic when he was able to perform the spring cleaning… payment option on my laptop. I was especially pleased that he chose to work with me even though I’m in the U.S. (of A) and he’s in the U.K., and the way he responded to the limitations of my internet/tech savvy, which is really saying a lot since I can’t figure out my skype and have never tried whatsapp. He identified a virus, restored my ability to use my Microsoft Office, cleaned up my registry, showed me how to find answers on my own, and gave me instructions to do a system restore, which I had done before but failed to follow up with anti-virus. Now I’m doing a bit better, and feel real good about my exchange with fix-my-pc. I had to call my bank to authorize the method of payment with my visa card, and that was it. Done and Done. I hope I don’t have to call Jon again, well, actually I used facebook since my phone plan doesn’t include int’l, but if I ever do, I will do so in confidence and trust.read more

Jon and his team are so good. They manage not to patronise those of us who are admittedly faint but pursuing in terms… of technology, and even achieve explanations in plain everyday language! They are clearly very enthusiastic about their work and the computers which surround them, and do everything they can to give a rapid service.
