The kitchen sink waste pipe needed fixing the other day.

Plan ahead they say. Cut the pipes carefully. Prepare to put back together.

Where’s the O ring seal that goes at the end?

I know I have a spare somewhere.

Five boxes and three rooms later I found it. Half an hour wasted. Tension building. Nerves frayed.

If only I’d been organised.
